This page explains how to farm Venidium on the PoST Blockchain.
How to farm Venidium (XVM) on the PoST Chain?
First of all let's start with the requirements:
Your computer does not need to be good, but you will need storage (data space) and a fast driver i.e. Industry class SSD Drive.
Tomshardware.com made an example "Budget" PC for plotting and farming PoST Coins, where we just updated the prices fitting to early 2022 (prices according to newegg.com):
Component | Description | Price |
---|---|---|
CPU | Core i5-11400 | $180 |
Motherboard | ASRock Z590 Phantom Gaming 4 | $149 |
Cooler | Box cooler | $0 |
Memory | Team 32GB DDR4-3200 | $120 |
SSD Storage | Samsung 983 DCT 960GB | $222 |
USB HDDs | 6x Seagate Portable 5TB or 6x WD Elements Portable 5TB | $800 |

PSU | Thermaltake Toughpower GX2 80 Plus Gold 600W | $70 |

In order to farm XVM you have to first download the PoST Wallet for Venidium.
The latest release can always be found here:
After starting up your wallet, under the Plots tab, you have to create new Plots in order to farm XVM. You can skip doing this, if you already had Plots from Chia™ or other Forks.
Once your wallet is synced and well connected the farming will start automatically.
