Validator Candidates are the heart of Venidium Blockchain.

Creating a staking pool

Aka. Become a validator candidate

  1. Monitor your node’s logs as it starts up by running the monitor-node.shfile.

  2. Copy node address. This will be your mining address.

  3. On Metamask, select the wallet that you want to create a staking pool with.

  4. Go to https://staking.venidium.io/ and click the green button “Add Pool” from the .

  5. Enter the Amount of XVM you want to put as a stake.

  6. Paste your mining address.

  7. Enter your desired Pool Name and Pool Description.

  8. Press the “Add Pool” button and confirm the Metamask transaction.

Removing your pool

  1. On Metamask, select the wallet that you created your staking pool with.

  2. Go to https://staking.venidium.io/ and select “Remove Pool” button from your own Pool.

  3. Press “Remove my Pool” button and confirm the Metamask transaction.

  4. Wait until the epoch is finished which can take up to 7 days.

Withdraw your staked coins from your pool/validator candidate

If you are a validator candidate at the time of removing your pool you will have to wait until the end of the epoch for your stake to become available for withdrawal.

  1. Press “Order Withdraw” in the next to your pool.

  2. Enter the amount you want to unstake (from your total stake) and choose the pool / node from which you want to unstake your staked coins from.

  3. Confirm the transaction in your MetaMask (If it doesn’t let you confirm press “I want to proceed anyway”).

  4. You will now have to wait until the Epoch ends (can take up to 7 days) in order to be able to withdraw your coins.

  5. To withdraw your coins press the “Withdraw” Button next to your pool and confirm the MetaMask transaction.
